Project, Infrastructure and Construction

TR&Co. successfully managed various large-scale construction projects involving sophisticated technology. Notable examples include the largest fertilizer plant in Kalimantan, coal handling facilities, explosive plants, sub-sea pipelines, and power plants. Our technical expertise extends to handling construction projects under different schemes, such as Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM), both with lump sum fixed prices and cost-plus-fee payment structures. Additionally, our experienced lawyers specialize in infrastructure projects, including toll roads, water projects, and subsea gas pipelines.

Projects milestones

  • R&Co. played a pivotal role in constructing PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur’s Kaltim-5 Project, Indonesia’s largest fertilizer plant in Bontang, East Kalimantan. Our extensive involvement encompassed preparing and negotiating the EPC Contract and Supply Contract, resolving legal issues during construction, and subsequently developing an integrated Urea Bulk Storage and Conveyor System at the same site.
  • TR&Co. represented PT Reswara Minergi Hartama, an Indonesian coal mining company, in a significant project involving the construction and development of integrated coal handling facilities. These facilities included a barge loading conveyor, an overland conveyor, trestle structures, a loading jetty, and mooring facilities.  The project was executed under the cost-plus-fee EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Procurement, Construction Management) scheme in Meulaboh, Aceh Province.
  • TR&Co. represented the Representative Office of Sinohydro Corporation Limited in collaboration with its Indonesian local partner. Together, they secured the contract to become the EPC contractor for the 2×50 MW Coal Fired-Steam Power Plant in North Sulawesi, owned by PT Minahasa Cahaya Lestari.
