• TR&Co. represented PT Antam Tbk (“Antam”) in several significant joint venture transactions:

• Nickel Ore Blast Furnace Smelter in Halmahera Timur, Maluku Utara:
  • Advised Antam in a joint venture with Singapore-based companies for the establishment of a nickel ore blast furnace smelter in Halmahera Timur.
  • Negotiated and handled various agreements related to this joint venture, including supply agreements, offtake agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and land lease agreements.
• Rotary Kiln Electronic Furnace (RKEF) Smelter in Sorong Special Economy Area:
  • Represented Antam in a proposed joint venture transaction to establish an RKEF smelter for producing ferronickel (Nickel Pig Iron) and stainless steel.
  • The project involved cooperation in Antam’s mining business and utilized a project financing scheme.
• Smelter Grade Alumina Refinery in Kalimantan:
  • Assisted Antam and PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) in a proposed joint venture transaction for the establishment of a Smelter Grade Alumina Refinery in Kalimantan.
